Mission

The Florida Waldorf Foundation’s mission is to foster Waldorf education and anthroposophical programming; that is, programs that cultivate the wisdom of the human being. The Foundation provides support for education that awakens each student’s capacity for love of learning, independent thinking, and heartfelt service to the world. The primary work of the Florida Waldorf Foundation is to secure permanent land for Waldorf schools, support teacher training, and nurture efforts that seek social renewal.

About

The Florida Waldorf Foundation was founded as a non-profit 501(c)3 organization in 2004 as the Friends of Morning Meadow and which was also known as TWIG, The Waldorf Initiative of Gainesville. In 2022 the name was changed to more accurately reflect the mission of the foundation to promote and support Waldorf education in Florida.
